This is a permanent residence visa and allows skilled workers to live and work in Australia.
You must meet the following criteria at time of invitation after successful EOI is obtained:
- be invited to apply for the visa.
- have an occupation that is on the relevant list – Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) of eligible skilled occupations
- have a suitable skills assessment for that occupation.
- satisfy a points test requirement
- be under 45 years of age at the time you are invited to apply for a visa.
- have Competent English (see criteria below)

Always look at the invitation rounds to see the minimum points score allowed for that round.
